PhoneView is a simple utility for the Treo 600 smartphone from
Handspring/PalmOne. It lets you quickly switch between views in the
Phone app by pressing the Phone button, just like switching between
Calendar views by pressing the Calendar button!
PhoneView cycles between the Main or Active Call, Contacts, Favorites,
and Call Log views.
New in PhoneView V1.1: You can now add, remove, and rearrange the order
in which you cycle through the different views, and can select the Dial
Pad as one of the views.
Install PhoneView simply by Hotsyncing the PhoneView.prc file to your
Treo 600, receiving it via infrared beaming, or by downloading it
through the Blazer web browser.
PhoneView is active as soon as it is installed on the phone: there is no
need to do anything to enable it. Start using it simply by pressing the
Phone button to cycle between views.
To set your preferred view order, press and hold the Shift key as you
press the Phone key. A PhoneView Prefs screen will pop up, allowing you
to change your view preferences.
